What's Happening?
Starting September 1, 2026, Nova Scotia will implement application fees for the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP). The fees are $1,000 for worker streams and $2,000 for the entrepreneur stream. These fees will apply to candidates selected from the expression
of interest pool for assessment. The introduction of fees aims to support program administration, ensure efficient allocation of nomination spaces, and recover administrative costs. The fees align Nova Scotia with other Canadian jurisdictions and are non-refundable, except in cases of administrative error. The Atlantic Immigration Program remains unaffected by these changes.
