The United Arab Emirates' elite Presidential Guard has engaged in joint training exercises with special forces from Türkiye and Azerbaijan. The Turkish Ministry of National Defense announced that the training included
VIP protection and special forces operations, conducted in Menteş near İzmir and Gölbaşı near Ankara. The exercises featured inflatable boat and diver training at the National Defence University's facility on the Gulf of İzmir. Additionally, VIP protection training was held at the ÖKK base south of Gölbaşı, utilizing new armored vehicles equipped with signal jammers. Concurrently, another unit of the Presidential Guard participated in the 'Indestructible Partnership 2025' exercise in Azerbaijan, with 23 Emirati soldiers training at a base west of Baku.
