What's Happening?
The Wisconsin FFA Foundation has initiated a campaign to create a specialty license plate aimed at supporting FFA programs and students across the state. This initiative has entered the design phase, marking a significant step towards the plates becoming
available for vehicles statewide. The campaign began with support from the Elkhorn FFA Alumni & Supporters, who funded the initial fee to start the process. Following this, 500 signatures were collected and approved by the DMV, allowing the project to proceed. A design contest is now open to the public, with entries due by July 1, 2026. The winning design will be finalized with assistance from the Foundation and used for production. Each plate will include a $25 annual donation to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation, contributing directly to FFA programs. The total cost for the plate will be $125, covering registration, issuance fees, and the donation.
