The Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF) and the Vulnerable Twenty (V20) Group of Finance Ministers are seeking a Program Officer for Methane at their Secretariat. This role is pivotal in implementing the 'Pulling the Methane Emergency Brake' initiative, which
aims to integrate methane reduction into national climate strategies. The initiative focuses on transforming methane reduction commitments into investment-ready strategies that enhance climate resilience, economic prosperity, and public health. The Program Officer will coordinate with governments, international organizations, and development partners to support climate-vulnerable countries in translating scientific knowledge into practical policy action. The CVF-V20 represents 74 climate-vulnerable nations, advocating for stronger international cooperation on climate resilience and finance.
