GE Vernova has successfully deployed Vietnam's first HA turbine at the Nhon Trach 3&4 Power Plant, marking a significant milestone in the country's energy sector. The 1.6-GW facility, powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), is located in the Ong Keo Industrial
Park, about 45 miles southeast of Ho Chi Minh City. This $1.4 billion project, led by PetroVietnam Power Corp., aims to improve the reliability and stability of Vietnam's energy grid, supporting the growing electricity demand in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province. The plant utilizes GE Vernova's 9HA.02 turbine technology, which is expected to enhance the integration of renewable energy sources.
