GE Aerospace has announced a new collaboration in Singapore, establishing the Singapore Partnership for Aviation & Aerospace Research and Capability (SPAARC). This initiative aims to focus on emerging aviation technologies such as AI applications, airspace
modernization, advanced aerodynamics, and next-generation propulsion systems. The partnership is formed under a memorandum of understanding with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), and the International Centre for Aviation Innovation (ICAI). SPAARC will operate as a distributed research unit, collaborating with multiple research institutions across Singapore. This development builds on GE Aerospace's existing engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) footprint in the region.
