Workforce Solutions of Central Texas, in partnership with Temple College, is launching a new Industrial Automation Foundation Program specifically designed for active-duty military spouses. The program, set to begin on September 29, offers a direct path to in-demand careers in advanced manufacturing and robotics. Participants can earn an Industrial Automation Foundations Certificate in eight weeks and a Robotics Integration and Manufacturing Certificate in 12 weeks. The program is fully funded by scholarships, eliminating tuition costs for eligible participants. It aims to provide career pathways such as manufacturing technician, robotics technician, and automation technician roles, with expected starting wages of $22-$26 per hour.
