What's Happening?
TotalEnergies has announced a significant hydrocarbon discovery at the Moho license offshore the Republic of the Congo. The MHNM-6 NFW exploration well has revealed a hydrocarbon column of approximately 160 meters in Albian reservoirs. This discovery,
along with a previous find at the Moho F structure, is estimated to contain nearly 100 million barrels of recoverable resources. TotalEnergies plans to develop these resources through a subsea tie-back to existing production infrastructure. The Moho field is currently supported by two floating production units, Alima and Likouf, with a combined output of approximately 90,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
