The search for Karen Solomon, 58, continued into its second day after her husband, an off-duty Worcester police officer, was found deceased at her residence on Tuesday morning. Worcester Police stated that Solomon remains missing and is presumed armed
and dangerous. Authorities were called to Solomon's residence on Wildwood Ave. around 5:28 a.m. Tuesday, where they discovered the deceased officer. Worcester Councilor At-Large Khrystian King identified the victim as Kurt Solomon, Karen Solomon's husband. Worcester County DA Joseph Early Jr. identified Karen Solomon as a suspect and cited a potential 'domestic violence' incident, noting that 'other people were involved in the house as well.' Several agencies, including local police, Customs and Border Patrol, Mass State Police, Homeland Security Investigation Office, and the U.S. Marshal’s Office, are assisting in the search with resources such as helicopters and K-9 units.
