What's Happening?
TM Nxera, a joint venture between Telkom Malaysia and Singtel's data center subsidiary Nxera, has signed a multi-year electricity supply agreement with Tenaga Nasional to power its AI-ready data center campus in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. The agreement provides
280MW for the facility, which is set to begin its first phase of commercial operations this year. The data center, located within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone, is designed to support large-scale computing and AI workloads. It features advanced technologies such as liquid cooling and eco-friendly energy and water management systems. The facility aims to serve as a catalyst for AI and cloud technology adoption across industries.
