Baramati-based Agrovision Foundation and the National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning (NBSSLUP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deploy artificial intelligence in Vidarbha's agricultural systems. This partnership aims to develop
AI-driven decision tools for crops, soils, irrigation, and climate management, specifically targeting Vidarbha's cotton, toor, and citrus ecosystems. The collaboration seeks to create a cloud-linked agronomy stack to provide farmers with hyper-local insights, enhancing precision in fertiliser dosage, irrigation scheduling, and pest forecasting.
