The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) of South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo's (DRC) Fonds De Promotion De L’Industrie (FPI) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on projects that aim to enhance energy and transport
infrastructure, industrial activity, and employment across Africa. This agreement was announced during the Investing in African Mining Indaba 2026, a major platform for mining discussions in Africa.
