Intermountain Health has announced plans to develop a significant new medical campus in West Valley City, Utah. This initiative involves converting the nine-story, 235,000 square-foot Fairbourne Building, located at 3535 Market Street, into a comprehensive
healthcare hub. The acquisition of the building from Wasatch Group and the subsequent development aim to enhance healthcare access for residents in West Valley City and the broader west Salt Lake County. The new campus, to be named the Intermountain Health Fairbourne Campus, will offer a wide array of medical services, including primary care, specialty care, advanced imaging, laboratory services, infusion treatments, and outpatient services. A freestanding emergency department, affiliated with Intermountain LDS Hospital, is also planned to open in late 2027. Construction on the interior of the building is currently underway, with several clinics and services expected to open later this year.
