In response to devastating wildfires in southern Chile, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has mobilized hundreds of volunteers to provide relief to affected communities. The wildfires, which
have claimed at least 20 lives and displaced thousands, have prompted the Church to convert its buildings in areas like Concepción and Los Ángeles into collection and distribution centers for essential supplies. Volunteers are working alongside government authorities and other organizations to deliver hygiene kits and other necessities to those in need. The Church's efforts are part of a broader interfaith collaboration to support the recovery process. Elder Gabriel Campos, an Area Seventy, has visited impacted areas, emphasizing the resilience and faith of the community members who are actively participating in relief efforts.
