What's Happening?
MacGregor has been awarded a contract to supply cargo access solutions for nine new RoPax vessels as part of the Grimaldi Group's fleet renewal initiative. This order includes equipment for three vessels for Finnlines,
four for Grimaldi Euromed, and two for Minoan Lines. The vessels will be constructed at China Merchants Industry Weihai Shipyard Co. The order encompasses two distinct vessel designs, with three ships for Finnlines featuring a capacity of 5,400 lane meters and 1,000 passengers, intended for the Baltic Sea. The remaining six ships, four for Grimaldi Euromed and two for Minoan Lines, will have a capacity of 3,300 lane meters and 2,500 passengers, serving the Mediterranean and Adriatic Sea networks. Magnus Sjöberg, Executive Vice President of MacGregor's Merchant Solutions Division, emphasized the achievement as a testament to the company's commitment to delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
