What's Happening?
The Andhra Pradesh government has signed 40 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 3,49,476 crore during the 30th CII Partnership Summit 2025. These agreements are expected to create 4,15,890 jobs
across various sectors, including green energy, high-tech manufacturing, IT infrastructure, aerospace, and food processing. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu presided over the signing, which includes significant commitments in Drone City, Space City, semiconductors, deep-tech, advanced manufacturing, and green hydrogen. Reliance Industries announced plans for a 1 GW AI data center powered by a 6 GW solar plant, along with a 170-acre integrated food park in Kurnool. The summit also saw discussions on advanced renewable energy projects, large-scale infrastructure commitments, and international partnerships in electronics, satellite technology, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and shipbuilding.
