What's Happening?
Mandarin Oriental is set to enter the South Korean market with a new luxury hotel in Seoul, scheduled to open in 2030. The hotel will be located in the Central Business District, north of the Han River, and will feature 128 rooms and suites. Designed by André Fu, the hotel aims to offer an intimate and residential atmosphere, akin to a curated private club. The hotel will include a variety of dining options, including a destination restaurant with panoramic city views and a high-end Korean Chef's Counter. Additional amenities will include a spa, a fitness center, and a golf academy. The project is being developed in collaboration with Hanwha Group.
