The initial phase will involve research and development, with Renishaw's engineers leveraging advanced manufacturing techniques, including metal additive manufacturing, to enhance performance. This partnership has been instrumental since before the Tokyo 2020 Games, contributing significantly to the track bikes used in Paris 2024. Renishaw provided over 1,000 precision components for 32 track bikes, including innovative 3D-printed titanium cranks and aerodynamic seat posts.
