of Transportation to explore the possibility of setting up a Bahrain-based air operator's certificate (AOC). This move would allow AirAsia to operate flights from Bahrain to various destinations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The plan includes operating more than 25 daily flights via Bahrain by 2030. Capital A is restructuring its aviation operations by consolidating its carriers under AirAsia X, forming a single entity known as AirAsia Group.
