Suman Devi, a resident of Kadamhia village in Bihar's Bagaha subdivision, has established a successful beekeeping business alongside her husband, Satyendra Singh. Initially starting as a small initiative,
their enterprise has grown significantly, with their honey being distributed across India and even exported to Dubai. Suman Devi's journey began with formal training in beekeeping, motivated by the Block Horticulture Officer and supported by a loan under the PMFME scheme. Despite initial skepticism from her community, she persevered and now owns 50 bee boxes, producing approximately 750 kg of honey monthly. Her brand, 'Rudra Natural Honey and Soap,' has gained recognition, and her success has inspired around 150 women in the region to pursue self-employment.
