What's Happening?
NFP, a New York City-based insurance broker, has appointed David Roberts as the senior vice president for surety in its Northeast region. Roberts brings over 30 years of experience in managing commercial
risk, having previously led Liberty Mutual's largest surety office. Meanwhile, Falvey, headquartered in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, has named Marc S. Blubaugh as lead national coordinating counsel. Blubaugh is recognized for his expertise in freight broker liability and the Federal Aviation Administration Authorization Act, and he serves as outside general counsel to the Transportation Intermediaries Association.
Why It's Important?
These appointments are crucial for both NFP and Falvey as they aim to strengthen their leadership teams and enhance their service offerings in the insurance sector. Roberts' extensive experience in surety and commercial risk management is expected to bolster NFP's capabilities in the Northeast region, potentially leading to increased market share and client satisfaction. Blubaugh's appointment at Falvey is likely to enhance the company's legal and regulatory expertise, particularly in transportation and logistics, which could lead to improved client outcomes and business growth.
