What's Happening?
The UK has introduced RFAS Aviation, a scheme designed to verify the sustainability and emissions impact of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). This initiative aims to address challenges in evidencing greenhouse gas reductions under the UK Emissions Trading
Scheme. RFAS Aviation extends the Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme to the aviation sector, providing a standardized declaration for fuel traceability and sustainability.
