Joliet Public Schools District 86, in collaboration with its transportation partner First Student, is relaunching FirstView®, a real-time GPS vehicle tracking and student transportation monitoring platform. This platform is specifically designed for special
education school bus tracking. Parents and caregivers can download a secure, user-friendly mobile app to track their student's daily trips, view real-time vehicle locations, access vehicle details and updates, and receive distance-based ETA notifications. The app also allows for setting up email alerts for family members and caregivers and provides dedicated customer support.
