What's Happening?
NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) has announced the progression of 14 companies to Phase 2 of its program, aimed at rapidly adopting dual-use innovations for military
applications. This initiative, which began with 74 companies selected from 2,600 submissions, provides these companies with EUR300,000 in additional funding to scale their solutions. The focus areas include human health and performance, data and information security, critical infrastructure and logistics, energy and power, and sensing and surveillance. DIANA's approach is to support these companies in transitioning their technologies for potential defense use, offering access to funding, an accelerator program, and mentoring from experts.
