Harford County Public Schools in Maryland has received over $2.4 million through the state's Decarbonizing Public Schools grants. This funding includes $96,000 to reinstate an energy management position, $2.3 million for replacing energy-efficient HVAC
units, and $50,000 for a solar feasibility study at North Harford High School. The grants aim to enhance energy data analysis and expand solar energy initiatives across the district.
