The exhibition is organized around an open theme covering various design fields and a special theme focusing on Gyeongnam's industry and heritage. Participants can submit entries individually or in teams, with no entry fee required. The event will award 37 prizes, including the Minister of Trade and Industry Award, and will showcase winning works at the Changwon Convention Center and Design Korea 2026.
Why It's Important?

By fostering international collaboration, the exhibition aims to expand Gyeongnam's identity and future industries into a globally resonant design language. This initiative not only promotes cultural exchange but also highlights the role of design in connecting industry and tourism, potentially boosting the region's economic and cultural profile. The inclusion of generative AI standards reflects the evolving nature of design and the importance of innovation in creative industries.
