Egypt has inaugurated The Octagon, a massive State Strategic Command Headquarters located east of Cairo. President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi personally led the inauguration ceremony, which featured military displays such as artillery salutes and flyovers.
The complex, described as the largest defense and national security facility globally, spans 22,000 acres and includes eight interconnected octagonal buildings.
