The UK Ministry of Defence has selected Tekever's AR5 surveillance drones to replace the British Army's aging Watchkeeper fleet. The UK Government plans to invest up to £400 million ($532 million) over the next ten years to provide the Army with these
advanced uncrewed aerial systems. The AR5 drones, capable of carrying up to 50 kilograms of surveillance equipment, offer improved endurance and sensor capabilities. The initial order includes six drones, with plans for up to 24 units by 2029. Tekever will manufacture the drones at its new facility in Swindon.
