The AW1 project is a 240 MWh battery storage facility, with plans to expand to 480 MWh, making it one of the largest in the UK. The project is expected to commence commercial operations in Q1 2027. TLT's involvement included advising on a £45.3 million non-recourse project finance facility, drafting and negotiating bespoke finance documents, and managing equity investments and shareholder loans from SAE and BESS Investment UK Limited.
