What's Happening?
The Argentine Army has received its first four M1126 Stryker wheeled armored fighting vehicles from the U.S. government. This delivery is part of Argentina's plan to acquire a total of 207 Stryker vehicles to complete
an armored brigade. The vehicles were officially handed over to the 6th Mechanized Infantry Regiment 'General Viamonte' of the X Armored Brigade. The acquisition process, which took over a decade, aims to replace part of the existing fleet of M113 armored vehicles.
