Salt Lake City has revealed its final plans for the Fleet Block open space, a 2.4-acre area in the Granary District. The design includes a small amphitheater, open lawn spaces, gardens, and play areas, all aimed at creating a community-focused environment.

The project, which has been in planning since the city's vehicle fleet moved in 2009, aims to provide a shaded, natural green destination for the growing neighborhood. The city has allocated $6 million from a general obligation bond and received an additional $2 million from the Bezos Earth Fund for the project.
