The Controlled Environment Building Association (CEBA) has announced the winners of its 2025 Built By the Best Awards, which celebrate achievements in controlled environment and cold storage construction.
The awards were presented during CEBA's Annual Conference and Expo held at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. In the Controlled Environment, Cold Storage & Distribution Warehouses category, Sadel Group was honored for its Magnavale Easton project in Grantham, United Kingdom. This facility is a fully automated high-bay frozen warehouse, maintained at -18°C, featuring 101,000 pallet positions and advanced automation systems. In the Special Works Projects category, Griffco Design/Build received recognition for its Scout Cold Logistics project in Lancaster, Texas, which involved an 88,115-sq.-ft. cold storage buildout within a larger warehouse for a global meal kit provider.
