What's Happening?
A survey conducted by the Dong Nai City Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center assessed the potential of various tourist destinations in Dong Nai province, Vietnam, to develop products aimed at international tourists. The survey included visits
to historical and cultural sites such as the Nhon Trach Martyrs' Memorial and the Nhon Trach Tunnel, as well as eco-tourism areas like Bo Cap Vang and Thien Tam. The initiative aims to identify and enhance tourist areas, attractions, and service establishments that can be integrated into tourism programs and routes, thereby promoting Dong Nai's tourism image to both domestic and international audiences.
Why It's Important?
The development of eco-tourism in Dong Nai province is significant as it aligns with global trends towards sustainable tourism. By focusing on eco-tourism, Dong Nai can attract environmentally conscious travelers, thereby boosting the local economy while preserving cultural and natural heritage. This approach not only enhances the province's appeal as a tourist destination but also supports local communities by creating jobs and promoting cultural exchange. The initiative reflects a broader strategy to diversify Vietnam's tourism offerings and reduce reliance on traditional tourist hotspots.
