What's Happening?
MacGregor has been contracted to provide cargo access solutions for nine new RoPax vessels as part of the Grimaldi Group's extensive fleet renewal initiative. This order includes equipment for three vessels for Finnlines, four for Grimaldi Euromed, and
two for Minoan Lines. The vessels are set to be constructed at China Merchants Industry Weihai Shipyard Co. The order encompasses two distinct vessel designs. The Finnlines ships will have a capacity of 5,400 lane meters and accommodate 1,000 passengers, intended for the Baltic Sea. The other six ships, destined for the Mediterranean and Adriatic Sea networks, will have a capacity of 3,300 lane meters and 2,500 passengers. Magnus Sjöberg, Executive Vice President of MacGregor's Merchant Solutions Division, emphasized the achievement as a testament to the company's commitment to delivering tailored solutions through collaboration with clients and partners.
