Maureen R. Taylor, a resident of Aurora, IL, and formerly of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 17, 2025, at the age of 80. She is survived by her spouse, Charlie Byers, her children, Greg Taylor and Tricia Taylor, and Charlie's
daughters, Becca Hughes and Jenny Byers. Maureen was known for her passion for country and western line dancing, serving as the secretary for the 'Kingsway Kickers.' Her adventurous spirit led her to travel extensively, including trips to Hawaii, U.S. National Parks, and a Rhine River cruise. Maureen was also an avid golfer and a lifelong reader, actively participating in book clubs. Her family was central to her life, and she cherished her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Memorial donations can be made to the Hydrocephalus Association or Dementia Society of America. Visitation is scheduled for October 23 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Aurora, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial and interment at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Naperville.
