What's Happening?
Sweden, Germany, and the UK are set to receive BvS10 all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) from BAE Systems, with the rollout scheduled for September 16 at BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik. This joint procurement involves a total of 436 BvS10s, with deliveries to the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, Germany's Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, and the UK Ministry of Defence. The vehicles, which include troop transport, logistics, medical evacuation, recovery, and command-and-control variants, are based on the latest version used by the Swedish military. This procurement is part of a framework agreement valid until 2029, with an option to extend until 2032.
