The Houston Rockets, in collaboration with Reliant, are organizing their fourth annual Back-to-School Bash on July 31, 2026, at the Sunnyside Community Center in Houston, Texas. The event aims to support up to 1,000 students by providing backpacks, school
supplies, and various services to prepare them for the upcoming school year. The bash will offer free health and dental checkups, grooming services such as haircuts, and a nail spa bus. Additionally, the event will feature a basketball clinic run by Rockets staff and appearances by former Houston basketball stars Cynthia Cooper and Rafer Alston. The event is designed to be a community celebration with activities like inflatables, face painting, and a mobile library from the Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation.
