Carol Lynn Lawrence, a retired sergeant from the Chicago Police Department, passed away on March 6, 2026, at her home in Clarksville, Tennessee. Born on November 25, 1960, in Chicago, she was the daughter of Anthony and Marilyn Hawrylicz. Lawrence had
a distinguished career spanning 36 years with the Chicago Police Department and was a member of the PBPA (Unit 156). She is survived by her husband, Steve Lawrence, and several family members, including her brother, Anthony 'Tony' Hawrylicz, and her three rescue pugs. A visitation is scheduled at Conboy Westchester Funeral Home in Westchester, Illinois, on March 13, 2026, followed by a prayer service and Mass of Christian Burial on March 14, 2026, at Divine Providence Catholic Church. Entombment will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
