India's National e-Governance Division (NeGD) has partnered with the Association of Australian Education Representatives in India (AAERI) to launch a digital verification platform for Indian students applying to Australian universities. The platform,
integrated with DigiLocker, allows for consent-based verification of academic, identity, and financial records through digitally signed documents. This initiative aims to reduce paperwork, accelerate verification processes, and enhance trust in cross-border student admissions. The AAERI Verify platform was unveiled at the AAERI Annual Conference in New Delhi, and it connects directly with DigiLocker to enable secure sharing of documents issued by authorized institutions.
