New York. He attended the University of Georgia before serving in the military during the Vietnam War. Grimm worked as a machinist, tool and die maker, and mechanical engineer, designing hospital equipment. He is survived by his wife Rosemary, their children, and grandchildren. A memorial service was held on November 20, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia.
