David Muoka, a former center for Lamar University, has signed with the Brooklyn Nets. Muoka, who played for Lamar from 2019 to 2021, was the 2021 Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He averaged 6.9 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game during his sophomore year. After college, Muoka was an undrafted free agent and signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Trail Blazers. He played for the Windy City Bulls in the G League, where he averaged 10.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game.
