The Vermont Adult Learning (VAL) Energy Works Program has been awarded the 'Best of the Best' award for workforce development innovation at the Better Building by Design (BBD) conference hosted by Efficiency Vermont. The program, which began in Rutland
four years ago, has expanded statewide, offering personalized education, language acquisition, and career readiness support for adult learners facing barriers such as unemployment and poverty.
