Three companies in Northern Michigan received funding to expand their operations. Bear Creek Organics LLC in Petoskey will use $82,910 to enhance refrigerated transportation and storage, creating six jobs. Boss Dairy Farms Inc., operating as Charlevoix Cheese Company, received $94,042 for automated cheese-cutting equipment, generating two jobs. By the Light of Day in Traverse City was granted $68,528 for equipment to improve herb, flower, and fruit production efficiency, creating four jobs.
