from Buffalo State College and pursued further studies at SUNY Geneseo. Her career included teaching home economics and remedial reading in New York schools. Mills was a devoted member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, and the Eastern Star chapter in Fillmore, NY. She married Charles Mills in 1993, sharing a life filled with boating adventures. Mills is survived by her husband, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring, with details to be announced.
