Scott has a history of playing for multiple MLB teams and has also spent time in Japan's NPB. Ugandan players David Matoma, Allen Ajoti, Joseph Deng Thon, and Armstrong Muhoozi have also made notable contributions in various minor league teams, with Matoma playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates' Low-A team and Ajoti, Deng, and Muhoozi participating in the Dominican Summer League.
