Edith Anne Gregory, affectionately known as Edie, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 1, 2025, at Overlander Long Term Care. Born in Salmon Arm, Edie was the eldest sister to Hylda and Sandra, maintaining a close bond with them throughout her life.
She met her husband, Gordon Herbert Gregory, in Salmon Arm, and they married in 1956. Together, they raised four children and were involved in various business ventures, including Budget Rent-A-Car, which they successfully ran for 28 years. Edie and Gordy enjoyed traveling, spending time as Snowbirds between Canada and California. After Gordy's passing in 2013, Edie continued to live near her family until moving to Ridgepoint Retirement Residence and later to Bedford Manor. Edie was known for her volunteer work at the United Church Thrift Store and her delicious baking. Her memorial service is scheduled for December 20th at the United Church in Kamloops.
