A Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority bus collided with a restaurant in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C., on Saturday morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of Seventh Street NW and Q Street NW. According to the D.C. Fire
and Emergency Medical Services Department, the crash involved a Metrobus and an SUV, resulting in the bus partially entering the Balkan restaurant Ambar. Fortunately, the restaurant was unoccupied at the time. Three individuals, including the bus driver, a passenger, and the SUV driver, sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.
