Dr. McKenzie (Beals) Hendricks, an alumna of the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA), returned to her alma mater to share her career journey with students. Hendricks, who grew up on a farm in Nebraska, pursued her passion for agriculture
through 4-H and online courses, eventually earning an associate degree in agriculture production systems. She continued her education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and completed a veterinary program, graduating with honors. Now a beef cattle veterinarian and owner of Broken Bow Animal Hospital, Hendricks credits NCTA for providing foundational skills and connections that helped her succeed.
