South Louisiana Rail Facility (SLRF) is investing $2.1 million to expand its operations in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. This expansion involves installing advanced bagging and warehouse equipment to enhance efficiency and open new markets for Louisiana's
rice producers. The project is expected to create 10 new direct jobs and retain 12 current employees, with Louisiana Economic Development projecting an additional 51 indirect jobs.
