Renowned chef Rick Stein is set to open a new restaurant at the soon-to-launch InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach. The restaurant, which will seat 224 guests across three distinct spaces, is designed
with a Mediterranean beach vibe. It features an open courtyard, a balcony with views of Arden Street, and a main dining room with floor-to-ceiling doors. The venue also includes a 10-seater chef’s table and two 12-seater banquette areas. The restaurant will open for lunch and dinner on weekends and dinner only during weekdays. Stein, who is expected to arrive on December 20, will oversee a soft opening for 80 guests. The restaurant is part of a collaboration with Salter Brothers, who acquired Bannisters Group in 2024.
